The above image is my favorite from Kristy's beach wedding weekend get-away. For no particular reason other than it sums up for me how happy she and Mike are together and how beautiful their beach wedding was.
There was a time in our lives as friends that we spent a lot of our down time between school and work, porch sitting at her big ol white house, sharing our hopes and dreams with each other over beers.. day dreaming of finding our prince charming, traveling... and what life would be like with him in it.... well... DONE!
I cant speak for her, but I can say for myself that marriage has exceeded all expectations!
The beach house was incredible, the bride was picture perfection... her fairy tale wedding came true and she found her best friend.. her man! He is quirky and funny and keeps her laughing and I am so beyond happy for her ! :)
The wind decided to go on a rampage the day of her actual ceremony... but we managed to get some incredible pictures and memories all the same.
...and alll of her bridesmaids were troopers.. they battled the wind, the sun in their eyes, hair flying everywhere and didnt skip a beat with laughing and having a great time. Great group of girls :)
Anyone that knows me knows clothes and style are NOT my specialty... but THIS girl has it goin on in the fashion world! I walked into Tara's room and this is what I found.. I called it her 'buffet bar'. ha
She had jewelry and accessories just layed out all over this table for anyone to come up and wear what they wanted. She really has a knack for this stuff! I need to pay her to take me shopping. for real I need help!
------ Parasailing------
Oh yeah baby! we FINALLY for pete sake got to go parasailing.. this has been on our vacation 'to-do' list more than once and we either booked other excursions or were enjoying driving up the coast too much to stop, but this time we got it done and it was a blast.. i took a camera up with me but didnt manage to get much. i'll be completely honest.. I felt like i was going to fall and was holding on for dear life! I'm a momma now! got a cutie two year old to stick around for !! :)
here is my adorable partner in crime.. and below is my hilarious face. still love the rush and excitement from doing this stuff.. love it ! Ziplining beats it though, for anyone asking.
The two knarly dudes you see below were soooo much fun while they took us parasailing.. half baked and lord only knows what else... dunking me in the water aside, they were awesome!

It was a fun weekend beach trip, but a working one for me as well. Jon and I did manage to take a great
late night stroll along the beach ( a must for us.) fun trip. lots of laughs.. could have done withOUT the $$$$ soaked ticket on the ride home.... (right Shell) but other than that it was a great time.
Congrats to Mike and Kristy.. Live lots, laugh lots more, and love each other completely :)
