...its always about the K

Outside playing with one of MY toys while Kellen was playing with his. Bought a 'Lensbaby' a while back. Fun toy for a camera geek.

We're a month into being three... childhood imagination and 'pretending' is in full force, and we can not find the Tablet we bought him for his birthday! grrr
I'm guessing he's hidden it in one of his other toys but no luck tracking it down so far. In the mean time he has taken over my iPhone to listen to his Austin Moon videos.. sigh
Never in my life would I have imagined knowing EVERY show that comes on the Disney channel, but that is in fact the case. Among our household faves are 'Good Luck Carlie' and 'Austin and Ally'. My then two year old son decided a while back that his personal fave was 'Austin and Ally', and then it turned into 'lets what Austin Moon'. I tried to correct him and be like no baby its called 'Austin and Ally', but I learned quickly that the characters last name was indeed Moon...This kid can sing now, and once K realized I could pull up the Disney song videos on YouTube it was allll over, I really haven't seen my phone since! sigh again
He doesn't quite have the words completely memorized like he did with his previous favorite, Lee Bryce's 'Hard to Love'... but there is one in particular high note in one of the songs that he NEVER fails to hit.. He points his finger in the air just like the kid in the video and belts it out.. um, Momma priceless moment for sure.
He also has a signature dance move, which is a very cocky boy strut followed by a spin on the ground and then back up to a cocky boy strut. Too hard to describe and do it justice, but just know that J.T. would be impressed with this kids mad skillz.
:)
Rest assured this child is alllll boy, as he pretends he's saving me from snakes and 'sceery' spiders almost daily! A few weeks back Jon and I watched our wedding video with him. It was a hoot. He giggled through the entire thing and it seemed like he grasped why he wasn't there, who knows.. Last night out of nowhere he says, 'I liked watching you wedding movie. It's OK that I wasn't there because i wasn't 'boren' yet.

Mimi took Kellen and Lily to buy fish a couple weeks ago, and then this week she pawned it off on us.. lol  K wanted to bring it home so we did. His name has apparently changed several times. K first named him 'my-guy' and now calls it Nemo. So we are the proud owners of a beta fish named Nemo... and don't you fret, with Kellen around, Nemo will never have the chance to go hungry!
Considering it's 6:20am and my eyes are barely cracked, its really not surprising that I have a million cute stories that happen with this kid but my mind is blanke.... case in point I just spelled the word 'blank' with an 'e'... (insert more coffee).
Jon and I have been discussing what kind of vacation we want to take this summer. We're both itching to go somewhere and see something new. There are some big changes taking place in life, with my jobs and other... very eager to see how it all pans out. Ready to spend more time with my kiddo. We'll see!
