Last Tuesday we decided to road trip it to the Zoo. The three of us amigos hopped in the car and were Tulsa bound.
I didn't take my camera, was feeling the need to just enjoy a carefree time with my faves... but once there we realized it was just tradition to get a few Zoo pics. So the iPhone had to do.
and does anyone with kids leave the zoo without getting this pic ??
We have been several times when the animals were kind of dudds.. Occasionally you get a great show. The grizzly bear was on his game on this trip. He jumped up right in front of us and did some huskin around... and then decided he had a foot itch, so he proceeded to set and scratch his claw with his other claw for a good while. It was like a grown man with a foot itch. Entertainment at its finest.
The Lions were being lazy bums until the zoo worker started up the leaf blower.. They perked right up and started stretching and yawning.. Kellen ran over and did his fist pump and said 'yesssss, oh yeah baby.' no idea where he gets this from. I blame Disney.
Short trip but lots of animal fun. Watching my child explore and see those eyes light up when he sees giraffes and seals and monkeys...
